Introduction of ballet skills - focus is still on exploring the natural creativity and imagination of this age. As they grow and become more confident, students in Session B will perform in the NRT on June 9, 2013.

PRIMARY – AGES 6-8 (age group 1)
A strong foundation in dance begins with ballet, which creates the right alignment of the body for every type of dance. This course builds on dance skills gained in Pre-Ballet, establishing the basic postures and enhancing coordination and focus. Students are encouraged to study ballet in conjunction with other classes, and it is mandatory for the Advanced Jazz students. Performance in the NRT on June 9, 2013.
