They will perform 2-3 numbers in the NRT on June 9, 2013, as well as participate in 1 dance competition during the school year.

For a mix of ages of the more advanced and committed students with Jazz experience, an exciting class focused on the theatrical aspects of dance. With focus on Broadway and character style, students will also have the opportunity to explore other dance styles and storytelling through dance. Performance in the NRT on June 9, 2013.
Pre-requisite: at least one other dance class that includes technical training: either Ballet 3/4 or Jazz 3/4.

COMPANY ( ages 12-17)

An auditioned class, the Company is a serious and committed group devoted to performance. Members must also take Advanced Jazz and Ballet class in order to be accepted. Class will feature intensive workshops in different styles of performance Jazz; from classic Broadway to street, lyrical, character and Fosse. Guest teachers will bring in various styles. 3-4 choreographies will be performed in showcases, competitions and the Year-End Shows on June 9, 2013 in the NRT.
MANDATORY CLASSES – BALLET 3, 4 or 5 and Jazz 3
(11-13), 4 (13-15) or 5 (15-17) Advanced.
