Located at 950 West 41st Avenue, the Jewish Community Centre of Greater Vancouver offers exceptional cultural, educational, recreational and social programs and services. It is the home of various leading Jewish organizations, including the Jewish Federation of Greater Vancouver. Over generations, thousands of members, volunteers and donors have made the JCCGV what it is today. The JCCGV is a gathering place that reflects and accommodates the diverse needs of Vancouver-area Jews. No wonder the JCCGV is simply referred to as the "Centre"; it is truly at the heart of our community.

MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT AND EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

In the JCC world, the seasons come and go in a flash. We write up the programs and activities for one season, and before the ink dries, we are preparing our next program guide.

The JCC of Greater Vancouver is currently involved in an exercise of analyzing our programs and activities, with a critical eye, to make sure we are providing appropriate, relevant programs, with the highest quality possible. Michelle Pollock and Lloyd Baron, from our Board of Directors, are leading the review process, with input from participants, staff, and others. This will be an ongoing activity, in order for us to continually assess the programs and activities of the JCC. We will publish the results as they become available. Thank you to all who will contribute and be involved.

Look out for next fall's celebration of Israel @ 60, a community party celebrating the 60th anniversary of the independence of the State of Israel. We will be providing more information as time goes by, but for more details, please contact Debbie Tabenkin at the JCC.
