The basics of first aid. Includes accessing the emergency medical system, emergency action principles, dealing with breathing problems, bleeding and shock.

Teaches and practices all physical skills required for the National Lifeguard Program.  As well as teach and develop strokes and skills in preparation for the Water Safety Instructor course.

The core lifesaving instructors course. Required for anyone interested in teaching Lifesaving programs. Prerequisite: Bronze Cross, Standard First Aid current within 1 year and age 16.

The core program for lifeguards. Water rescue, first aid and public relations skills. Prereq: Bronze Cross, CPR "C" Standard First Aid current within 1 year, age 16.

The fundamentals of swimming instruction. Prereq: AWSI, age 16.

An introduction to basic instruction techniques, and prerequisite to Water Safety Instructors program. Candidates must be 15 years.
