We are proud to offer something for everyone in our inclusive pool facility. Staffed by a welcoming and dedicated team of lifeguards, our lessons and programs feature small class sizes and friendly instructors. Come join us for a swim in the lap pool or take a relaxing dip in the hot tub!

Lap Pool Etiquette
- Members are to circle swim in a counterclockwise direction and stay on the right side of the lane. Members may choose to swim on the sides instead if there are only 2 swimmers in the lane.
- Water jogging is permitted in the slow lane. During peak times, water joggers will be asked to jog in a circle swim pattern in order to maintain consistency with other swimmers in the lane
- Lifeguards may ask swimmers to move to the slow or fast lane at their discretion
- Pool toys and mats are not to be used in the lanes during member’s swim
- Swimmers must be at least 12 years of age and successfully complete a swim test (conducted by the lifeguard) in order to lap swim without an adult

The JCC Sports Department offers a variety of programming for all ages and interests! Ice hockey, softball and basketball leagues lead the way, along with several martial arts programs, open gym and racquet court availability. Whether you are looking to play your favourite sport or just searching for a fun way to meet people and connect with the community, the JCC Sports Department is the place to find it!
For the younger generation, the JCC Maccabi Games – along with the new year-round affiliated programming – brings Jewish athletes from all over British Columbia together in the name of sport! Development programs for a variety of team sports, sport-specific training and community engagement are highlighted by an annual summer trip to the JCC Maccabi Games, with thousands of Jewish teens from all over the world!

Discover a welcoming community focused on your health and fitness journey at the JCC. We provide a fully equipped Fitness Centre, an extensive Group Fitness Schedule, exceptional Personal Trainers, and a beautiful Pilates and Wellness space – all with friendly staff to guide you along the way.
Fitness Centre Hours of Operation
Mon–Thur: 6:30am – 8:45pm
Fri: 6:30am – 3:00pm
Sat: 2:00pm – 5:45pm
Sun: 9:00am – 1:45pm
Fitness Centre age Requirement
The minimum age to use the JCC Fitness Centre is 13 years old (unless participating in a registered program).

To ensure a safe and enjoyable workout experience for all our members, please review and follow these guidelines:

Membership Access: Use your membership card for entry; cards are non-transferable.

Age Requirement: Members must be at least 13 years old to use the Fitness Centre. Please refer to Teens in the Fitness Centre.

Respect: Treat fellow members, staff, and equipment with respect.

Photography: Taking photos or videos is not permitted without prior authorization.

Footwear: Please wear clean, closed-toed athletic shoes. Crocs and slides are not permitted.
-
Fragrance-Free: Please avoid using perfumes, colognes, or other scented products.

Cardio Equipment: Be mindful of time limits on cardio machines when others are waiting.

Sharing Equipment: Share strength equipment and allow others to “work in” between sets.

Sanitation: Sanitize equipment after use and return all items to their designated spots.

Noise Level: Keep personal noise to a minimum and take phone calls outside the Fitness Centre.

Weight Dropping: Avoid uncontrolled and repetitive dropping of weights.

Belongings: Store all bags and belongings in cubbies; free wallet lockers are available.

Food Policy: Food, gum, and breakable bottles are not permitted.
