Tai Chi, is a Chinese martial art and gentle form of exercise based on the interplay of Yin and Yang. It is characterized by slow, graceful, flowing movements which promote coordination, concentration, mental and physical balance. In this course, study the short 24 Form (Simplified Yang style) – one of the most popular around the world.

KELLY MACLEAN has been teaching Chinese martial arts for over 35 years. She specializes in Tai Chi and Qigong. Kelly has studied with some of the world’s greatest teachers, including her primary teacher, Master Shouyu Liang. In the 1990’s, Kelly competed representing Canada in tournaments around the world, winning many medals and Grand Championship titles. She loves sharing the art to benefit others and is excited to bring Tai Chi – 24 form to the JCC.
