Belzbeg Lane Etiquette & Rules

  • Lanes are intended for shared use and can accommodate up to 4 swimmers at once. Swimmers do not need to ask for permission to join others in the lane, but you may quickly check in with the other swimmer(s) for safety reasons, so they are aware you’ll be joining.
  • Members are to circle swim in a counterclockwise direction and stay on the right side of the lane. Members may choose to swim on the sides instead if there are only 2 swimmers in the lane.
  • Water jogging is permitted in the slow lane. During peak times, water joggers will be asked to jog in a circle swim pattern in order to maintain consistency with other swimmers in the lane
  • Lifeguards may ask swimmers to move to the slow or fast lane at their discretion Pool toys and mats are not to be used in the lanes during member’s swim
  • Swimmers must be at least 12 years of age and successfully complete a swim test (conducted by the lifeguard) in order to lap swim

Fouks Pool Etiquette & Rules

  • The Fouks pool is open for use by all members and individuals of all ages are welcome to attend during Members Swim or Family Swim sessions.
  • Children under the age of 12 may use the pool during Members Swim, but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
