NEW Japanese Box Making

2-DAY WORKSHOP

Make a beautiful box using an historical Japanese method. Beautiful decorative paper and bookcloth are used to finish a box roughly 9” x 4” x 2” with a pair of bone clasp closures. The box’s historical purpose was to gift or house precious items. Today, it can hold a gift, art/writing supplies or household items elegantly to minimize everyday clutter. No prior bookbinding or box making experience is necessary. All materials and tools provided. Cost includes non-refundable $28 materials fee.
