A Bright Future For Our Community

This week, the JCC celebrated a ceremonial groundbreaking of the new Diamond Jewish Community Centre marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter for our community.

CTV News was there to capture this incredible moment and share a glimpse of what’s ahead.

The new Diamond JCC will be almost twice the size of our current centre, creating more space and opportunities for our community to connect, learn, create and thrive. The new centre will include:

Expanded childcare	Seniors services
A pool	A gymnasium
A theatre	An art gallery
A library

We are deeply grateful to the Diamond family, Diamond Foundation, The Ronald S. Roadburg Foundation, the Al Roadburg Foundation, the Government of British Columbia and the Government of Canada for helping make this new building bring generations together and serve our community for years to come.
