UBC guitar professor Alec Pearson and selected students from his studio present a program of music inspired by diverse cultural traditions from around the world. The program travels through Brazilian-influenced dance works, African-inspired polyrhythms, and flamenco-style duets, highlighting the guitar’s remarkable ability to speak many musical languages. These talented young musicians share repertoire shaped by years of study, curiosity, and a deep love for their art.
