Lee Miller: A Photographer At Work (1932—1945)

This exhibition explores one of the most intense and productive chapters in the professional life of American photographer Lee Miller. Miller was a renowned portrait, cosmetics and fashion photographer, and a war correspondent for the British edition of Vogue. In 1942 she followed the US troops to Europe as a front line combat photo-journalist, witnessing the siege of St Malo, Liberation of Paris, fighting in Alsace and the liberation of Buchenwald and Dachau.

Trip includes transportation, museum admission and a private docent-led tour of the exhibit. Lunch on your own at any of adjacent restaurants or in the Lonsdale Quay Market before boarding the bus to return to the JCC.
