On April 19, come out to a fascinating conversation about how personal and historical memory are fundamental to how Jews understand themselves.
At Out of the Shadows, we invite you to join us for a screening of David Bercovici-Artieda’s The Fast Runner, a short film telling the story of a young girl’s courage in the face of the Holocaust.
Following the film, there will be a conversation with the filmmaker, playwright Mark Leiren-Young, and SFU Professor Dr. Lilach Marom, moderated by Marsha Lederman.
The event is co-presented with Chutzpah! Plus and Pacific Legal Education & Outreach Society. Tickets are pay-what-you-can, with a suggested price of $18.
