JCC Push-Up Challenge

Join the JCC for a fun, community-wide challenge! JCC members and staff will challenge themselves to complete 2,000 push-ups, either individually or as a team, while building physical strength and raising awareness about mental health and the importantce of staying active in overall well-being.


Dates: February 5 – February 27

FREE. Optional donations to the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA)


How to Participate:

Option 1: Join at the JCC Fitness Centre

  • Register at the Fitness Centre starting January 30 and pick up your tracking card.
  • Members will be grouped into teams to work toward a shared goal of 2,000 push-ups.
  • Count all push-ups completed during the challenge. Variations or substitutes count!
  • Weekly check-ins: Stop by the Fitness Centre to report your totals. Your push-ups will be added to the JCC Members Team.

Option 2: Create Your Own Team Online

  • Register your own team on the Push-Up Challenge website.
  • Be sure to link your team to the JCC Vancouver Community to join the fun and track progress together.
