Increase your comfort and skills in listening, talking, reading and writing Hebrew. Enrich your vocabulary, express greetings and phrases and ask basic questions. Learn more grammatical structures and conversation topics.

Yasmine Halevi, a native Hebrew speaker, studied Linguistics at the Hebrew University, and Cultural Studies at Tel Aviv University. She teaches contemporary Hebrew to people who want to speak it as a means of practical communication.
“My approach is grammatical because I believe grammar is the fastest way to learn and identify patterns. During the lessons we read, write, listen, speak and laugh. It can be hard work initially but it soon gets very rewarding as you start to speak, understand more, and see the results!”

I started learning Hebrew to speak with my Israeli wife, but this class soon became something that I looked forward to both for my learning of the language but also to be part of a close group of like-minded learners.
Yasmine’s instruction navigates carefully how to manage the foundation without getting stuck in exercises, and builds into communicating more advanced phrases. Classes are dynamic, and we worked together as a group to challenge ourselves, ask questions, and have fun!
