Employment Preparation & Support Program for Youth
Providing young people with the tools, experience, and support they need as they work toward their employment goals. Winter session registration is open. Register here
What We’re Offering:
- Skill-Building Workshops – Sessions focused on developing essential soft skills like communication, problem-solving, and professional workplace behavior.
- Paid Work Experience – Real job assignments right here at our JCC, giving participants hands-on experience while earning a paycheck. (Participants age15+ with a valid SIN or Work Permit. (Volunteer opportunities for others)).
- Free CPR Training & Certification – Professional CPR certification, adding a valuable credential to a resume.
Program Details:
- Dates: Workshops on Sundays (January 11 – April 19) from 11 AM to 1 PM; work sessions vary throughout the week.
- Who: Youth ages 15-18
- Cost: FREE
