Employment Preparation & Support Program for Youth

Providing young people with the tools, experience, and support they need as they work toward their employment goals. Winter session registration is open.

What We’re Offering:

• Skill-Building Workshops – Sessions focused on developing essential soft skills like communication, problem-solving, and professional workplace behavior.
• Paid Work Experience – Real job assignments right here at our JCC, giving participants hands-on experience while earning a paycheck. (Participants age15+ with a valid SIN or Work Permit. (Volunteer opportunities for others)).
• Free CPR Training & Certification – Professional CPR certification, adding a valuable credential to a resume.

Program Details:

• Dates: Workshops on Sundays (January 11 – April 19) from 11 AM to 1 PM; work sessions vary throughout the week.
• Who: Youth ages 15-18
• Cost: FREE
